It consists of a hard itinerary yet very panoramic, ideally joining the Orta Valley and the Peligna Valley.
From Roccacaramanico the path goes up on the north-eastern side of the Morrone through dense beech forests alternating with flowering plains and harsh ravines.
The path starts with a steed ascent until Passo San Leonardo, then turning towards Mandra Castrata. The itinerary goes on sweetly descending through quick hairpin turns on the Morrone slopes.
The path is recommended between spring and autumn.
