Mount Mileto on the Morrone Mountains

The itinerary is very panoramic and it reaches the meadows of Mandra Castrata, going up and down on the Mount Mileto, the third-highest summit of Morrone, where the view is amazing, stretching from the Maiella to the Orta Valley.

After a stretch on a mountain path, the itinerary proceeds on a dirt-track at 1800 m of altitude in Costa Campanaro, going on halfway up the slope on a mule-track. This hike takes place among a thick beech forest and plains, where ancient coal holes are still visible.
