High Route of the Morrone Mountains
This itinerary connects Passo San Leonardo to the top of Morrone, where the view stretches from the Maiella mountain to the Gran Sasso, and from the Sirente mountain to the Adriatic sea.
Past the summit, going down the itinerary crosses the Spirit Path, going ahead nearby some round-shaped rock towers. Beyond the Iaccio Grande refuge, located in an inner, minor valley, the itinerary joins the Park's Path and gives the chance to go on and reach Caramanico Terme.
